Her career spans over 30 years and she is best known for her performances in Ittefaq, Gumnaam, Kanoon, Jab Jab Phool Khile, Chhoti Bahen, The Train, Hum Dono and Prem Rog. She died in Mumbai on 25 March 2014 at her Versova residence.
